The sound sanctuary

Let the landscape and sound belong together.

Choose one card. The previous sound pauses before another begins. Start at low volume.

Soft Singing Bowls

Gentle sustained tones for a brief optional pause.

Ocean Rhythm

A steady wave pattern for reading or settling attention.

Gentle Rain

Soft rainfall for reflection or evening preparation.

Mountain Breeze

Moving air for spacious grounding.

Creek Flow

A water texture for quiet focus.

Forest Birds

Birdsong and soft air for journaling.

Nothing is playing. Sound is always optional.

Resource Garden

Twelve practical therapeutic-education tools.

Each offers a purpose, small action, and closing question. These are not therapy or diagnosis.

Five Percent Safer Map

Name where and when you are. List people, places, services, objects, and choices that offer support. Circle one reachable option. What could make reaching it five percent easier?

90-Second Orienting Practice

Keep your eyes open. Name five objects, three colors, two sounds, the date, and one choice available now. You do not need to change your breathing.

Needs Before Solutions

Finish: “The problem is... The feeling may be... The need underneath may be... One response within my control is...”

Boundary Safety Check

Ask about retaliation risk, privacy, transportation, money, documents, family logistics, advocacy, and alternatives before a difficult conversation.

My Support Constellation

Map emotional, practical, healthcare, professional, cultural, peer, and emergency supports. Empty spaces are information–not failure.

Work and Home Cup Map

List what drains and restores capacity. Mark what can be reduced, delayed, shared, declined, or supported.

Thought, Fact, or Protective Story?

Underline observable facts, circle interpretations, ask what the thought protects, and write a more accurate compassionate response.

Letter I Do Not Have to Send

Write to yourself, a feeling, a season, or another person. Decide privately whether to keep, revise, destroy, or discuss it safely.

Believable Affirmation Builder

Try “I am learning...” “Today I can...” or “I have the right to...” Revise statements that argue with you.

24-72 Hour Care Plan

Name basics, medication as prescribed, food, hydration, people, postponed tasks, professional help, safety concerns, dependents, transport, and a follow-up time.

Relationship Green, Yellow, Red

Green: respect and consent. Yellow: pressure and confusion. Red: threats, stalking, coercion, isolation, forced sex, financial control, or retaliation.

Closing the Reflection

Name what you noticed, what you are not processing today, one caring action, and who could support you. Orient to the room.

Wellness and safety notice

This free website provides general educational wellness information and reflection activities. It does not provide psychotherapy, diagnosis, medical care, legal advice, crisis response, or individualized safety planning, and it does not create a therapeutic relationship. Pause if distress rises and connect with an appropriate licensed professional, advocate, crisis counselor, or emergency service.
