About Michelle Elder

Michelle Elder, MSW, LMHC created My Reflective Collective to make thoughtful educational wellness tools easier to reach. The collection provides multiple doorways into grounding, anxiety support, ADHD and neurodivergent skills, grief, identity, self-worth, relationships, boundaries, trauma recovery, abuse recovery education, mindfulness, nature connection and preparation for supportive conversations.

Michelle’s style is person-centered, strengths-based and trauma-informed. The resources emphasize choice: readers may skip, rewrite, pause, use only one part, return later or seek individualized human support. There is no single correct way to reflect, grieve, recover or care for yourself.

The collection also reflects Michelle’s emphasis on compassionate reframing, believable affirmations, nervous-system awareness, mindfulness and nature. It avoids diagnosing readers or other people and does not replace individualized care.

Why My Reflective Collective is free

Helpful ideas should not be available only to someone who can afford a workbook, already knows professional terminology or can immediately access care. My Reflective Collective makes original educational resources available without a subscription so people can explore them at their own pace.

Professional and educational scope

My Reflective Collective provides general psychoeducation and self-reflection tools. It is not psychotherapy, diagnosis, assessment, treatment, medical advice, legal advice, crisis response or individualized safety planning. Visiting or downloading materials does not create a professional relationship with Michelle D. Elder, MSW, LMHC.
